Heat flat surfaces via conduction. Dependable with even heat distribution. Available as single with two terminals (for single wattage) and three terminal ring heaters (that have three terminals that split the heater into two equal circuits). Suitable for applications like: hot plates, tank bottoms, dies as well as glue and lead melting pots.

Applications of ring & disc heaters is the heating of flat surfaces: tank bottoms, melting pots, hot plates, platens, dies, molds, coffee urns, vacuum pumps (diffusion pumps), incubators, vulcanizers, ovens and resistive load banks.

Mineral Insulated Disc Heaters

These mineral insulated disc heaters offered by NPH are constructed or a rust-resisting iron sheath (750℉ Max Temp.) with optional chrome steel sheaths (1200℉ Max Temp.) available. They are precision pieces of equipment proven to be suitable for continuous duty applications. Heater reliability is assured by high quality nickel-chromium resistance wire, which is embedded in a special ceramic formula developed for long life with excellent heat conductivity. This refractory insulation is compressed and the cured in high temperature ovens to insure maximum quality.
